ABP Publishes 2024 Annual Report

The ABP's annual report for the 2023–2024 period details the successful completion of examinations for 79 candidates in the fall and 110 candidates in the spring, resulting in a total of 50 new Diplomates, along with the election of Dr. Thomas J. Salinas as Director-Elect.

The annual report of the American Board of Prosthodontics highlights the examination activities for the 2023–2024 reporting period. The Fall examinations took place from October 29 to 31, 2023, at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego, CA, with 79 candidates participating in 116 assessments, resulting in 29 new Diplomates. The Spring examinations were conducted from February 25 to 27, 2024, at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Chicago, IL, where 110 candidates took part in 115 exams, leading to 21 new Diplomates. Additionally, a written Section A examination was held on April 8, 2024, for 168 candidates at Pearson VUE testing centers. Overall, 50 candidates achieved certification as Diplomates during this period. The report also notes the election of Dr. Thomas J. Salinas as ABP Director-Elect in December 2023, succeeding Dr. Dean Morton, who completed his term in November 2024.
